Simulation Study on Surface Temperature Distribution of Collector Strip Material under Pantograph-Catenary Arc of Urban Rail

With the increasing speed of urban rail trains, vibration between pantograph collector strip and contact wire intensifies, pantograph-catenary arc occurs frequently, which severely wear surface materials pantograph-catenary. The burning strength extinguishing characteristics are affected by temperature parameters. Based on theory magnetohydrodynamics, this paper establishes a mathematical model with multi-physical field coupling. According to model, apply COMSOL finite element software establish simulation for pantograph-catenary, simulate analyze about arc. Use an experimental platform experiments verify feasibility model. distribution different under action is studied. research results indicate that there positive connection duration maximum temperature; Although different, same; decreases increase thermal conductivity material.
